Ubuntu
I downloaded and installed the latest version of Ubuntu linux (11.04, I believe). It looks fantastic. The install was painless (except for an issue with a dying hard drive). I was really impressed. Some company out there needs to engineer some great hardware and put this OS on it. It’d be a great contender.
